I'm running the Grand Union Canal Race which is a 145 mile ultra marathon from Birmingham to London along the grand union canal over the May bank holiday 26th to 28th May 18.

The race has a 45 hour cut off time, and will be by far the furthest I have ever run.

The longest race I have done before is a fifty mile race completed in just under 11 hours (that left me in bits), so I have no idea if I will be able to complete the GUCR, but I'm going to give it my best shot.
