I have been running a series of challenges to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer care foundation, in memory of my friends partner Muriel, who sadly lost her battle with cancer.

My final challenge is to run 3200 miles across the USA from LA to New York, in the TRANS USA  FOOTRACE.

I will be running 45-50 miles per day for 70 days, starting in June 2011.

Previously...

I ran 868 miles from John O Groats to Lands End in May, at an average distance of 55 miles per day for 15 days. (NOW COMPLETED IN 15 DAYS AND 3 HOURS!!!!!!!!!)

Then in July, I ran the highest ever ultramarathon. The race is called THE HIGH and is a 135 mile non-stop run across the highest road in the Himalayas. I ran at altitudes exceeding 5300 metres (almost the height of Mount Kilimanjaro) COMPLETED FIRST AND ONLY FINISHER!
