This event is a 100 bike ride in one day from Cardiff to Tenby...ouch!!!

As you're all aware, this isn't my usual kind of event...in fact, I don't have a usual event, so for my induction into charity events, I thought I'd throw myself in at the deep end...!

Velindre Cancer Centre is the largest non-surgical cancer Hospital in Wales providing Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and other specialised anti-cancer treatments for over half the people diagnosed with cancer in Wales.

It is estimated that by 2015 there will be a 30% increase in the most common forms of cancer in Wales. Velindre need to raise the money necessary to enable them to meet these new challenges.

This event will see me go through the pain barrier like never before, although it'll be nothing compared to what the people we're all riding for have to go through!

Please dig deep for such a worthy cause, and for those of you interested in seeing pain through pictures, I'll happily send round some photos!
