Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Terry (Dad) was diagnosed with Mesothelioma Cancer just 6 weeks ago. This is a cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Terry was very poorly for the last 6 months of his life before he was diagnosed and was incredibly brave throughout; a real fighter who battled hard (and was sometimes a little stubborn too!)
Dad passed away on Monday 22nd October and is no longer suffering.
Throughout his life, Terry met many people through his work, dog clubs and MX5 car club. It is evident to see the number of peoples lives he touched with his kind generosity and helpful approach to life. He helped raise a considerable amount of money through fundraising at dog shows and we are really proud of the positive impact all of his efforts have had over the years.
In memory of Terry we would welcome people to make a donation to the British Heart Foundation. Terry had experienced heart problems during his life and he received excellent care at Papworth Hospital. The BHF was a charity he wished to support to help others in his situation, help fund research and provide advice and care to others.
Thank you,
The Donaldson family
