As some of you lovely lot may know, my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's over 11years ago and has been in a nursing home for the last 3 years. He has also been diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's so needs round the clock care.

Parkinson's is a degenerative disease that is caused by s lack of dopamine in the brain. Parkinson's U.K. Are working on a cure and also provide well needed care and respite

Just a little about what we are attempting. It is going to be between 8-10hrs of off road cycling totalling 75miles with a punishing ascent after 70miles over the South Downs. Padded seat essential! There are around 8 of us in the team all donating to different worthwhile causes. It is not going to be a turn up event, we have and are having to put in some serious training.
