Research at the University of Sheffield will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking a treatment for their loved-one. By fundraising you will give hope to families living with the ongoing challenges of a genetic disease.

Story

Thank you for visiting my page. This year I will be taking on the Sheffield 10k - on Sunday 25th September - in support of Genetic Disease Research at the University of Sheffield. Any donations are appreciated to help reach my fundraising goal!

In the UK alone, 1 in 25 children are affected by a genetic disorder such as cystic fibrosis, sickle sell and huntingtons disease. Sheffield's research will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking treatment options.

As someone whose chronic illness is similar to that of a condition like cystic fibrosis, the idea that people would donate to this cause would offer a lot of patients and their families comfort.
