Story
On the 17th July I will be taking to the skies and jumping 13,000ft to keep 'Robbie' operating.
Below is lots of important stuff about Robbie but more importantly, here's the deal. Year's ago someone who was into skydiving told me why the fellow on the top is always smiling and the person below usually looks pertified. Help me meet my target and once we're there I'll share the story with you all.
Now the bit about what I'm doing it for. The 'Robbie' the da Vinci robot has transformed prostate cancer operations at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. The robot allows surgeons to perform radical prostate operations using all the clinical and technical capabilities of traditional open surgery, whilst enabling them to operate through the tiny incisions which characterise 'keyhole' surgery. For patients this brings a host of benefits all of which contribute to radically shortened recovery times and a quicker return to normal life.

In order to keep the da Vinci robot operating in Reading we need to raise £1m over the next three years.
Wish me luck! Thanks Mark xxx
