Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am a trustee of North West Cancer Research and will with my good pal Mike Parker be undertaking a 60 mile canoe across Scotland 13th - 16th May 2019. All money raised will go toward life-saving cancer research across the north west of England and North Wales.

Cancer changes lives. We all know somebody who has had to face this disease. Having seen the effect cancer can have on individuals and their families I know just how important research is. It can help in preventing cancer, it can make treatment more effective and can contribute to a better quality of life when living with or beyond cancer.

I will also once again be taking part in the NWCR Cycle for Hope 4-8 July 2019. A 300 mile, 4 day, 3 countries challenge from Liverpool to Dublin. Basically i will have completed my own 4 nations by canoeing across Scotland and cycling through England, Wales and Ireland.

Please help us make a difference. I am specifically appealing to  business owners and large corporates to get behind this fundraising activity and make a donation. Contact me if you would like North West Cancer Research to visit your place of business and explain our work.

As they say, every little helps. Mike and I will do the hard bit......please donate and give us your support. Thank you.
