As some of you may know, in 2008 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma, and in January 2009 I embarked on 5 months of chemotherapy, on April 29th 2009 I was told I was in complete remission, and have been all clear since then.

I started running through the couch to 5k app in 2017, and now running has become a big part of my life, and as my 10th year all clear falls  very near to the day of the London Marathon on the 28th, I decided what would be a positive way to mark this anniversary, than by raising money for a good cause like Variety the children's charity.

Why Variety ? well they do a lot of amazing work to help children with Disabilities, who are sick and need care, or who are from a disadvantaged background who will get some variety love in their lives...also I know from being treated at Kings college hospital in London near their variety children's hospital, just how much they make a difference.

If you can spare what ever you can to help me make this 10yr landmark mean something positive, as I attempt something that never in my wildest dreams I'd thought I'd see myself doing... &  in such an iconic sporting event,  & more importantly raising funds for this remarkable charity, & really changing the lives of children who need a helping hand, that would be truly amazing !
