I am once again lacing up my running shoes to raise money for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal. The money will go to Ward 32 and PICU at the Bristol Children's Hospital (BCH). In 2013 my son Benjamin was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Defect's and received a life-saving operation. After some time on PICU, the HDU, and Ward 32 we were able to bring him home. He continues to receive on-going care as an outpatient and this little jog is my way of saying thank you to the wonderful staff at the Children's Hospital, especially on Ward 32 and in PICU on behalf of myself and Benjamin's family.

This is a small sign of our gratitude to the staff at BCH, because without their compassion, dedication, skill, and excellence we wouldn't have been lucky enough to have Benjamin in our lives. It's because of them that Benjamin has grown into the energetic, loud and lovely bundle of energy he is today.
