Story

I am running the Edinburgh marathon this May and my chosen
charity is The Drinks Trust.

Last month one of our Chapel Down team, Michael Starr, very
sadly took his own life. It has been a tough few weeks as our team feel a huge
loss and sadness that our friend has gone without us having known about his
illness. Much is written and spoken about mental health but this is a heartfelt
plea to encourage everyone to keep talking through difficult times, we are all
in this together. The Drinks Trust has been a great support to us all through
this period. The Trust offers care and support to the people who form the drinks
industry workforce, both past and present, and relies on fundraisers,
volunteers and contributors to deliver its vital work.

Please support The Drinks Trust all you can by sponsoring me
by clicking on the link below. My target is £2000. I ran the London marathon
last October so I know what I’m in for but fair to say I have not maintained
the same level of fitness and have a tough 3 months of training ahead! I am
very grateful for all your support and donations.

Cheers - Mark
