Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Pearce's JustGiving page.

Pearce Branagan was simply one of life's gentlemen. He was only setting out on his path through life as a primary school teacher before he was tragically taken, before his time, aged 23, on Saturday 23rd June.

Although he was born with a heart defect, he simply refused to let it define him as a person, or prevent him from playing for his beloved GAA club, Clonduff.

As his grieving girlfriend Ellen said "He was the type of person that could walk into the room and light it up with his big smile and his stories. He was such a beautiful person, both inside and out."

The family have requested that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to either the Children's Heartbeat Trust Charity, based in Belfast, or Cardiomyopathy here (https://www.justgiving.com/cardiomyopathy).
