Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

I will be taking part in the UK IRONMAN Triathlon on 20^th July based around the Reebok stadium in Bolton. This could be my “longest day” starting with a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride and to finish, a 26.2 mile run. I’m looking forward to the challenge but one that I’m not taking lightly having been training for best part of a year; building up slowly to the point when I’m ready ( I do hope so !!).

For my pain ( and I do accept there will be some !)  I would like to support a local charity Balloons http://balloonscharity.co.uk that supports children in Bereavement. There is nothing which impacts upon a child’s or young person’s life quite like the death of a loved one. Sadly, children and young people do not always receive the support they need. Balloons offers that support and guidance through this very difficult time, and is a charity  that I am happy to support.Please dig deep, Many Thanks Mark.
