The Tour 21 in 2024 will see a team of amateur cyclists take on all 21 stages of the 2024 Tour de France route, one week ahead of the professional race - with the aim of raising over £/$1million for Cure Leukaemia.

Story

In June 2024, I will be tackling The Tour 21 on behalf of Cure Leukaemia, alongside 17 amateur cyclists as we look to complete the full Tour de France route one week ahead of the professionals.

Starting in Tuscany, The Tour 21 will take place from Saturday 22 June - Sunday 14 July and will tackle all 21 gruelling stages and 3,500km of the Tour de France route - one of the world's most gruelling sporting challenges.

We’ll climb the equivalent of Everest 6 times and go over the highest ever point in Tour history before finishing in Nice.

These roles form the Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) network giving patients, from a catchment area of 30m, access to potentially life-saving treatments through clinical trials, with plans to fund a paediatric network on the way.
