Hello!! Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page.

For people who know me well, you're probably thinking he can't run a bath let alone a marathon! For those of you who don't know me well...their right!! Which makes this challenge even tougher!

 

Not alot of people will know this, but my dad was a keen runner in his day! I still remember standing on the finishing line of many half-marathons that my dad used to take part in! Back then i was unable to take part. However, always wished i could.

Earlier this year, my dad sadly lost his battle with cancer. Since my dad passed away, I have had time to reflect and remember all the wonderful times we shared together. For that I am forever grateful. However, what I’m finding extremely difficult is the things we didn’t get to do together, one of those being going for a run.

This is why I have decided to run a marathon next year in his memory, as I know he’ll be running it with me.
Me, along with a couple of friends have already had places confirmed at the Brighton Marathon, which takes place Sunday 6 April 2014 (I can't think of a better way to spend my 29th birthday).

We can think of no better and deserving charity to raise much-needed funds for than Cancer Research UK. So please give generously!!
