As many of you may know I'm a keen long distance runner having competed in many races.

At long last I've managed to secure a place in 2012 London Marathon and thought it would be a great idea to celebrate the fact by trying to raise money for Dougie Mac Hospice-a local charity caring for the terminally ill.

Any donation would be gratefully received for this very worthwhile cause and make a special day even more memorable.
