Last year I learnt about the importance of of fueling our bodies with Alex Neilan (The Sports Dietitian) .  So when Alex asked for volunteers to get involved with the above tough mudder for Magic Breakfast I didn't hesitate to postpone the Belfast Marathon, as both events were taken place at the same time.  

Magic Breakfast is about ensuring children from impoverished areas in the UK get the necessary fuel to set them up for the day in school.  I personally know the effect of going without breakfast as this was the case for me for many years ,and it wasn't a great start to any day.
