Story

This year I’ve decided to take on my FIRST ever half marathon. The brilliant Great North Run on the 10th September 2023! I’m running again for CALM as they’re a charity that means a lot to me and they do incredible things. Saving lives from suicide. In 2017 I wanted to take my own life in Blackpool but with help I got better. Things do get brighter. 10th Sept is also WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY ❤️

About the charity

We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and showing life is always worth living.125 lives are lost every week to suicide. 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
