Story
It’s September. We’ve had the cricket. The sporting action has moved to two other
parts of the world: Japan, where a bunch of large blokes of many nationalities
are throwing an odd shaped ball around while running into each other and
providing entertainment for millions. No, not Sumo, rugby.
However, MUCH closer to home and to your hearts and minds and my legs is a much more important sporting event, where a bunch of men and women are getting on their
bikes and cycling to raise money for London’s Air Ambulance. This is a VERY GOOD THING and needs your support.
Mallorca. A hilly island. And a bit hot. And we start on Friday. It should be fine: I have the dog and a set of great companions and am told the bikes we are hiring are jolly nice and have gears, so what could go wrong?
Please support me in this. All money goes to London's Air Ambulance.
