Staff from Bristol City Football Club & Bristol City Community Trust will make the 10km walk through Bristol to raise funds and awareess around Mental Health in our society and contribute to the great work of the MIND charity.Brian,Tinnion & Matt Parsons of BCFC and Mark Reynolds of Bristol City Community Trust will all be taking on the 10km walk through Bristol on September 9th.



WALKING OUT OF DARKNESS 2018

‘Walking Out Of Darkness’ is a unique Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention event, which brings together the Public with Businesses, Schools, Univerisites and many more to assist, inspire and motivate everyone regarding Mental Health Awareness and work to create zero suicide local and regional communities across the country.

The events have grown over the course of 4 years via public support wanting to obtain, more mental health wellbeing information and participate in raising awareness and reducing the stigma in their local and regional commnities. The event has also received support from the Government, PHE, local Councils, NHS England, Sport England and many more offering to assist and support future events in local and regional communities.

Walking Out of Darkness events enable everyone from mental health charities, members of the public, local authorities, schools, universities, businesses and many more to come together in unity for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention enabling all to:

 Walk together and establish relationships to improve your local / regional communities mental health awareness with local Councils, Charities, Services, Businesses, Schools, Universities and many more.

 Help raise mental wellbeing to overcome the stigma of mental illness in local and regional communities with the support of local Councils, Charities, Businesses, Schools and Universities.
