I'm running the Ring O'Fire for Stroke Association!

Ring O' Fire 2021 · 3 September 2021 to 5 September 2021 ·
After having a stroke aged 32 in 2002, leaving me wheelchair bound and then rehabilitating myself over two years, I now help others overcome the effects of a stroke and help them regain their lives back.
I now specialise in rehabilitation of neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinsons, multiple sclerosis and brain injuries. I completely understand how clients with neurological issues feel and the difficulties they can face. I am absolutely committed about helping others overcome their own physical and psychological challenges.
Please please help me raise much needed money for the stroke association so they can help people effected by strokes, young and old!
I am taking on The Ring O’Fire in September 2021...
Ring O' Fire is a coastal ultra marathon which takes runners on an extraordinary 135 mile journey around the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. The epic foot race is staged over three consecutive days and follows the rugged and spectacular Anglesey Coastal Path.
Almost the entire coastline of Anglesey has been designated an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". Set against the dramatic backdrop of Snowdonia mountain range, runners will challenge themselves in some of the most awe inspiring coastal scenery in the British Isles.
Beauty aside, the extreme distance and variable terrain has sealed the race's reputation as one of the most challenging ultra marathons in the British Isles.
I'm running the Ring O'Fire Ultra Marathon for #TeamStroke! There are over 1.2 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes.Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments. Help me raise as much as possible to help rebuild lives after stroke - thank you!
