Story

Hello, my name is Mark, 48 years old but still feel 21 🤣.I am hoping to raise some funds for our Adult respite service. The popularity of cycling has grown for all abilities in recent years and it be nice to be able to put some funds towards purchasing some specialist bikes such as trikes, to benefit the people we support when they come to stay at Home Farm, this will give our guests an extra option if they wish to use a bike during their stay.

In September I will be taking on 3 cycling events, but the highlight will be on the 19th September, The toughest one day ride around, The Fred Whitton Challenge. This takes on a total of 114 miles and around 14000 feet of climbing, it takes in all of the Lakeland passes..😱so will be brutal event to do.

Either side of the main event I am taking on the Cross Border sportive which is just short of 80 miles and  7000 feet of climbing on the 5th Sept. A change in plan for the 3rd leg of my fundraiser Unfortunately i could not gain entry to the Eden Valley sportive de to high numbers so I shall be entering Watchtree's Solway cycle challenge, which is to take in 17 landmarks in the area, this will take me between 60-80 miles at an estimate based on previous events.

So wish me luck in completing all 3 events...but completing the Fred Whitton will be my toughest test to date.🤞🤞
