Story
Feeling very fortunate to have come out of the last year or so fairly unscathed, but that is not the case for a huge number of people. As has been the general form of late I had a work trip cancelled over July, so thought I'd put the time to good use and get to know 100km of the North Wessex Downs a bit better, and hopefully in the process I can raise a few pounds for some good causes. Run for Heroes supports a real range, including Great Ormond Street, Macmillan Cancer Research and Mental Health UK.
As some of you may know running is not completely out of my comfort zone, but getting through 100km in one go is pretty uncomfortable for almost everyone, and I'll be pushing myself to compete it in under 20 hours. Feel free to check out the event, Race to the Stones, for the gory details. I am also running with a Team supporting another very commendable charity, Love146, so do check out their page also.
I'd be most grateful if you could spare a few quid, and you'll probably find that you get a pint out of it anyway when we next meet up.
Thank you in advance,
Mark x
