At 1st Horringer Scout Group we passionately believe in equipping Young People with skills for life. Scouting helps Young People to be independent and thoughtful and provides them with skills, memories and friendships that last a lifetime.

Four leaders, Cat, Paul, Akela Chil and Baggy are running the Cambridge Half to raise money for our group. We wish to equip our new headquarters and refresh our camping kit.

We also wish to extend our programme to take our Young People on more adventures away from Horringer. However, it is not just the leaders who are running who will be working hard on the day.

A team of 22 scouts, leaders and parents will be manning the water station at the 5km mark, to provide much needed water and energy gels to the 14000 runners! Sponsoring us is not just sponsoring the runners, but also the Scouts who will be working hard as a team to help deliver a memorable event!
