Story
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
We are raising funds in memory of Chris Hosier, my brother-in-law, Uncle to our children, devoted husband to Melissa and father of Charlotte (aged 11). Chris sadly passed away in May 2023 after a 20 month battle against this horrible cancer. He was incredibly brave through all the treatments, poking and prodding....and overwhelmingly never complained!
Edward (aged 11) and I are committed to cycling the full 274 miles in August....a real challenge but incredibly worthwhile.
Chris loved nothing more than cycling, running (the odd bit of Marvel!) and being with his family and friends. We are inviting anyone out there to join us on this ride....predominantly around Norfolk / the East. The more the merrier.....so if you would like to join us on a leisurely ride on your bike, raise some money for an amazing charity...please message me on Facebook / LinkedIn.
With your donations and support, we can make a difference. Every £1 donated really does help encourage us on our way.
We would like to thank Sage Foundation who are match funding the first £1,500. Such amazing support - thank you :)
