Story

My friend Kelly hassled me to run the Brighton marathon with her. She'd been hassling me for years. I have run a few half marathons but each time I finished one I imagined starting all over again and it put me off. But this time was different. In March 2012 my fifteen year old daughter Heather became seriously ill with bacterial meningitis. The treatment she received was astonishing, particularly when you realise that it was funded by charity. So, with a cause to fight for I applied to enter the 2013 Brighton Marathon. And they accepted me. And Heather's fine now. Miracles do happen.

So please dig deep and donate now.
