On December 28th, Mark Sanders, Steve Whitehead, Craig White and our trusty / rusty 25 year old Land Rover, set off in an attempt to complete The 2007 Plymouth Banjul Challenge. Well, I’m delighted to say that we did it!
It certainly was a challenge. Here is a list of highlights / lowlights in no particular order:-
Our Land rover was auctioned on Sunday 28th January in
Banjul by the organisers who auction it to raise money for Gambian charities. We covered all expenses ourselves, so any donations you made, went straight to Action Aid. If you haven’t had chance yet, please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Remember, that donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Action Aid will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
Mark, Steve and Craig.
