Race to the KIng · 24 June 2017

We support disabled adults to pursue their ambitions by valuing each person as an individual and enabling opportunities and choice. We provide unique services to support disabled people to reach their potential. We have also been playing a vital role through the Covid pandemic.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In 2015 we were persuaded by the pretty pictures in a national newspaper that a double marathon along a highly scenic route would be a fun sort of thing for two ageing desk jockeys to undertake.

The memories of a number of our toenails literally falling out as a result and competitors shivering under foil blankets from a combination of cold, wet and fatigue have now been mellowed sufficiently by time that we are prepared to repeat our folly, just over a different, hillier route.

In order to make any sort of sense of this decision we are hoping that you might consider sponsoring us to do it all over again.  As before, we would like to support The Kingsley Organisation.

The Kingsley Organisation is a small charity based near the finish point of the race in Winchester that provides self development and training opportunities with and for disabled people, particularly those with learning disabilities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Just as further encouragement to donate, your money really will be working hard here as Steve's employer PwC will match your donations pound for pound up to a certain level.
