Story

if you have been following me on twitter @AstaritaMark you will see I have been released from the Tower (pic to prove it) and thanks to some wonderful friends.  It was a close run thing especially after my MI5 file was relased superinjunction so far holding back tabloid press from publishing.  Thank you everyone for helping me out of a tricky spot.

£200 from my friends at APPCO - love you

Lovely donation of £250 for care2give thank you

Thank you to a few lovely 'friends' of mine who have dished the dirt. My bail has now gone up to £1,500 - help please!

In a mad moment I agreed to take part in the British Red Cross annual Jailed & Bailed event to be hosted by the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress, Alderman and Mrs Michael Bear, on Tuesday 31 May. I will be arrested at Mansion House, on charges yet to be confirmed, and then be transported by the City of London Police to the Tower of London where I will be incarcerated pending bail. Thanks to a snitch I now have to raise £1,500 in bail in support of the British Red Cross by 2pm that day, I will be a free man again…but if not, I will be left to sample Her Majesty’s hospitality indefinitely! While I have been assured that I will be made ‘as comfortable as possible’ at the Tower if all else fails and I don’t reach bail, I implore you to help me by contributing towards my bail now!

All bail is raised in aid of the British Red Cross and I would be very grateful if you would give generously to this wonderful cause.

However well we prepare for life, a single event can change everything. A house fire can leave a family homeless and with nothing. An earthquake can bring a whole country to its knees. The Red Cross believes in respect for other human beings and in meeting suffering with care, understanding and without discrimination. They care for people in their own homes and in local communities, at home and abroad, in peace and in war.

In crisis situations, people need the Red Cross to be there when there is no one else to turn to. This year, millions of people will depend on them and helping me raise bail for this event means that they can be there when it counts.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me – the British Red Cross will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 25% in tax will be added to your donation through the gift aid system at no cost to you.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read about my plight and please help me – this is the request of a desperate man!
