Story

Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page!

After having run 100km (62 miles) from London to Brighton in May 2021, I've decided to take it quite a few steps further and do 161 km (100 miles) across the South Downs Way

Run Details

  • The run starts from the chalk ridgeway just outside of Winchester, across a range of chalk hills called the South Downs with about 4,150m of ascent and descent finally ending in Eastbourne
  • I will be running for 24 hours, starting at 5am Saturday 11th June and will run continuously throughout the night over mountainous terrain, until (hopefully) 5am Sunday 12th June
  • There will be 12 aid stations along the way to grab water/food
  • For more info on the run go to: https://www.centurionrunning.com/races/south-downs-way-100-2022

In memory of Terry Boyd

  • I've selected the charity Me4Mental to sponsor in memory of Terry Boyd, who sadly ended his own life on 11th April 2022
  • Terry was a brother to my partner Rob and beloved son of Dympna & Robbie
