Based in Manchester, MedEquip4Kids improves the health of babies and children in the UK by providing equipment not available from limited NHS resources. Because we value all aspects of children’s wellbeing, we also deliver workshops in schools to support young people’s mental health.

Story

JMC is celebrating 33 years of business by undertaking a mammoth physical challenge in a bid to raise over £8,000 for local children’s charity, MedEquip4Kids.  Myself and a brave group of my colleagues are in gruelling training for a 35-mile, 14,500ft hike across 33 peaks in the Lake District in just 24 hours on 10 and 11 May.

I am exhausted just thinking about it!  However if we succeed, and I am hopeful that we will (if we get our training right and the conditions on the day are favorable), then the sense of achievement will be immense.  But more importantly MedEquip4Kids in Prestwich, which provides critical paediatric medical equipment and facilities for hospitals and community health teams, will receive a significant boost to the great work they do.

The only true measure of the success of an activity like this is the amount of money we are able to raise and I am hoping that you might be able to see your way to making a donation to support the cause, even if it's only £2.

Cheers in advance for your help and support,

Mark
