Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Concern Ealing will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I have chosen to raise money for ACE, a voluntary organisation which helps to care for the people affected by Alzheimer's disease.

Why did I choose to support Alzheimer's? In short, it is a terrifying and heartbreaking illness.  It is progressive, degenerative and always fatal.  It attacks the brain, gradually stripping a person of mental and physical capabilities and rendering them totally incapable of caring for themselves.  Alzheimer's disease can affect anyone. At present, the Alzheimer's Society estimates that there are currently over 750,000 sufferers in the , and over 18,000 of these are aged under 65.

Please dig deep and help ACE with their fight against his terrible illness by sponsoring me online.

Knowing that some good will come of all the pain and blisters will help me to keep going for the whole 26 miles!

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
