As many of you will know, I work for Bliss, the special care baby charity, as the Communications Officer and I've had the opportunity to see first hand just how important the work of this charity is to thousands of premature and sick babies and their families across the UK.

I'm proud to be running for Bliss in the Virgin London Marathon 2013 and I couldn't think of a more worthy or deserving charity to receive your hard earned money in the form of a donation.

As an added incentive to give money to this great cause, I have set myself the challenge of not only runing in the London Marathon on 21 April 2013, I'll also be running in the Paris Marathon on 7 April and the Brighton Marathon on the 14 April.

Quite a challenge, but with so many people asking for sponsorship for various events I wanted to do something extra to show my commitment to raising money for special care babies.
