The first time Carla ever visited Falmouth was in 2016, when I was due to run the Falmouth Half. Unfortunately I had a very bad chest infection and couldn't do the run but we still came to support the other runners. This will be the first half for Carla and with an exceptionally hilly course to conquer, training for us starts in earnest in the New Year.Now we actually live in Falmouth, it seems right for the Hammond's to run the course in their new home town, raising money for Cornwall Hospice Care who are a well known charity here.
