Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 12th of March 2020 I will be running up Tower 42 in London a total of 10 times in aid of the homelessness charity, Shelter. This equates to running vertically for a mile.
I am doing this for three reasons:
(i) Homelessness is a cause that I care about. I feel it's an indictment on our society and it needs to end.
(ii) If you don't have a go, you'll never know. Naive enthusiasm has got me this far in life, so it's a case of onwards and upwards.
(iii) The inevitable discomfort I will experience is likely to please a significant proportion of my friends, many of whom inexplicably feel that I have placed them in uncomfortable situations in the past. If you belong to this category, please donate and enjoy the resulting sense of karma.
p.s. The fundraising target is based on trying to raise £1 for every vertical metre ran.
p.p.s Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
