Mark from Ark's Arkriders Twin Towns Tour

Arkriders Twin Towns Tour · 17 July 2019
Seven weeks ago, the furthest I had ever ridden a bicycle is 10 miles on holiday in Cornwall. On July 17, I will be joining 29 awesome Arkriders to ride nearly 500 miles, through five countries, in five days.
Why are we doing this? We all want to help raise £5m to help fund a new NHS cancer treatment centre that will help cancer patients and their loved ones in and around Basingstoke.
I am also proud, and honoured, to be joining the Arkriders in the saddle, after being on the support team twice before. These are amazing people who have really gone the extra mile, and then some, for the charity that I work for.
And finally, I have been inspired to take on this challenge by my dear friend and Arkrider Richard, who is currently being treated for lymphoma. He is thankfully responding well to treatment, and I know that the thought of what he has gone through will inspire every cyclist on the Arkriders Twin Towns Tour.
