The fine young chap standing on a big rock in the photo is my big brother, Paul, nearly sixty years ago.  He's still into standing on big rocks, like Kilimanjaro and Mount Olympus, which he has climbed for charity in the last couple of years.  He is pretty fit at the moment, apart from dodgy knees, but his future health is even dodgier as he has developed Parkinson's Disease, like thousands of others in the UK.

The good news is that some really exciting work is going on in the search for cures.   I'm trying to do my bit to speed this up by running the London Marathon on April 25th to raise money for a small but energetic charity, The Cure Parkinson's Trust, which is helping fund some of this work.  http://www.cureparkinsons.org.uk/
