Community First Responders (CFRs) and Co-Responders are volunteers who work alongside the ambulance service to help patients in emergency situations. Currently responding to the Covid 19 pandemic, now more than ever they are our unsung heroes.

Story

Community First Responders are volunteers trained and deployed by your ambulance service to respond to emergencies in their communities. They freely given their time to help others and are there within minutes with the right knowledge and equipment helping to save lives. Backed up by South Central Ambulance Service staff these volunteers are skilled, trained individuals. There is no NHS or government funding for CFRs and all their equipment is paid for by voluntary donations. It will cost the charity £39,900 to fund the Berkshire CFRs for 12 months, I want to raise this money to ensure these local heroes can continue to help our local communities. Thank you.
