When I entered the ballot for the 2019 Chicago Marathon I had fairly low expectations of getting into the race, after all what are the chances?

Turns out - quite good!

And once I got the email confirming my entry, there was really only one thought in mind. I was going to run it as a fundraiser for SensationALL.

Why? Simple really, they are a fantastic charity who do incredible work supporting families just like mine. My son and daughter have benefited enormously from the play sessions, social group, sibling groups and other opportunities and therapeutic supports which they provide.

So this is my way of helping give a little something back, and also taking the charity's branding and logo out there onto a major international stage.

I cannot wait to run the race, and I hope you will help me raise some money along the way. Any donation, no matter how big or small, goes a long way to helping families in the North East.
