I've decided to set myself some challenges in 2023 to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. My Mum got endometrial cancer in 2022, and although she is now well on the road to recovery, I want to help raise money to help anyone else in the same situation in the future and also raise funds for research and new technology. The help she received from the NHS and Macmillan throughout was been amazing, and it is really comforting knowing you're in safe hands should anything like this happen to you or your loved ones. 

My three challenges are

The Fan Dance Race - 7th January - the world's most prestigious Special Forces grade endurance event and the only one delivered by genuine former SAS & SBS soldiers. The Fan Dance is a gruelling 24km SAS Selection test march staged over Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons DONE 

Brighton Half Marathon - 26th February DONE

Manchester Marathon - 16th April
