Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

St David's Hospice is a charity that is close to the hearts of several individuals that are taking part in this challenge. My mum Janet passed away there in April 2007, and we will never forget the care, love and support that was provided for both mum, and us as a family.

Hospice care changes peoples lives, offering quality care, dignity and compassion for people facing the end of their life. Every year, UK hospices provide expert care and support to around 360,000 people, including adults and children with life-limiting or terminal conditions and their friends and families. This support is based on the belief that everyone matters all the way through their life until they die, and that no one should die in avoidable pain, suffering or emotional distress.

Alun Pritchard, Ben Woof, Gary Field, Howard Vaughan, Gareth Lavin and Mark Orme; aim to complete a 100km, four day hike that encompasses the Welsh 3000s (15 peaks over 3000ft), in a hope to raise as much money as possible to support St David's Hospice.
