L'Arche builds communities with people who have learning disabilities. Together with assistants, they live in ordinary houses, with choice in and access to work, therapy and local resources. The nine L'Arche communities in England, Scotland and Wales are founded on Christian values, also welcoming people of other faiths and none.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Although its traditional to give gifts to newly weds, people of our vintage have all we need in life.  If you'd like to mark our special day, please consider making a gift to help others less fortunate than ourselves with a donation to L'Arche Inverness. This charity helps people with and without learning disabilities share life together, living and/or working in the L'Arche Community.  L'Arche Communities welcome people of all faiths and none: their vision is a world where all belong.  L'Arche Inverness is the second oldest L'Arche Community and provides a variety of accommodation to nineteen adults with learning disabilities, some live together in a house with assistants who support them in their day to day lives and others are supported in their own accommodation under our support service.  For more information follow this link: http://www.larche.org.uk/Sites/inverness .
