I'm really excited to announce that I'll be taking part in the Alcatraz Swim next May. The Alcatraz Swim is an approximately 2-mile swim from Alcatraz Island across the bay to Crissy Field in San Francisco. This will provide a unique challenge and an opportunity to raise funds for a truly worthwhile cause. I will be raising money for Velindre Cancer Centre, a leading cancer treatment centre that provides vital care and support to those fighting this deadly disease.

I will be 1 of 25 swimmers, led by Velindre Charity Ambassador Dave Tonge and Patron Shane Williams, taking on this iconic swim in the shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge. Each of us have a target to raise as much for this great cause as we possibly can, therefore any support you can provide will I know be gratefully received and help raise vital funds for Velindre.

It won't be easy, but at least I know what I have to do. Please contribute to help those who don't know what's in front of them, and need the kind of support that only the Velindre Cancer Centre provides.
