I am helping the Mayor of Melton Mowbray to raise as much money for his chosen charity "Young Lives Vs Cancer" I have chosen to swim the equivalent of the English Channel in waterfield leisure centre in one go. Thats 22 miles or 1416 lengths of the pool approximately 16hrs of swimming in one day. This charity is close to mine and the Mayors heart as they helped a close family friend when they needed it most. They do fantastic work and I want to do as much as can to help them continue the great work they do.
