Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When I stopped playing football a few years ago I took up running in an effort to try and keep fit. After running my 1st mile and collapsing in the back garden completely shattered I said that if I got fit enough to run a 1/2 Marathon then I would run it on behalf for the BHF.
Why the BHF I hear you ask!?. Well, for those that don't know, my family’s history of heart disease and angina is well documented, what with my Dad having a heart attack at 42, Uncle Graham having a Quad heart bypass at 56 , my grandparents all suffered from angina, even my baby girl Phoebe was told she has a squeaky heart valve (but we've been told she is OK).
The BHF work hard to protect heart health and fight for better services for heart patients. Everybody has a part to play in the fight against heart disease, every pound raised from every donation (no matter how small) can help make a massive difference to people’s lives.
So with that in mind I thought it was time to do my bit ! :-)
