Knight Frank Schools Triathlon 2026 - Marlborough · 17 May 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

On Sunday 17th May, around 1400 inspiring 7 - 13 year old's are swimming, cycling, running and fundraising to support thousands of young people around the world to deliver life-changing projects in their own communities.

Story

The amazing Margot, Thea, Gabby and Amelia are taking part in their first ever triathlon at Marlborough College raising funds for Restless Development on 17th May 2026! They (amongst others) represent their Year 3 class at Great Bedwyn C of E Primary School on the day and they are putting all their courage into a 50m swim, 1000m cycle and 750m run at such a young age! We are immensely proud of their team spirit already!

Restless Development provides training, mentorship, and resources, to young people to lead and take action. Whether it’s starting a business, leading climate solutions, or ensuring girls stay in school, Restless Development believes in a simple but powerful idea: young people aren't just the future - they're the leaders of today.

Examples of Restless Development charity support: -

"Sierra Leone: A third of girls drop out of school by the age of 12 and a third of all girls will be married and have a child before then turn 18. We work with young leaders in Sierra Leone to help keep these girls in school by running girls clubs and talking to parents in the local community."

"Uganda: In Uganda, the percentage of young people who are not in education, training or employment is as high as 50%. We support young people who have left school and set up a local business by providing funding, training and on-going support for them to create an income. We have an upcoming campaign titled Youth Sparks which supports this work for those who want to find out more."

"UK: We support an array of children and young people, particularly those who face limited opportunities outside of school. We help them to lead a variety of projects — from conserving their local environment to creating positive change in their communities."

In order to encourage people to dig deep for the team, we thought we would convince/ persuade/ guilt people into donating some of their hard earned cash for our four incredible girls!! So, please - if you can - no matter how small (or large!) donate to show them how much support they have with training prior and on the day itself.

Thank you x
