We've been providing tailored and holistic care to those in need in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area for over 40 years. At your home or ours, we provide care without prejudice, regardless of condition, religion, beliefs or age - and always with your best interests at heart.

Story

Our good friend Nick sadly passed away in December 2018.  Nick was a larger than life character and really was a gentle giant and is sorely missed by not only his family but his golf buddies.   During his final weeks Nick asked us golf buddies all to promise that we would do our best to raise funds for the time he spent in the hospice and requested that we did our best to raise at least £1000 for every day he was there.

Nick was there for 4 days and the support the staff gave Nick in making him comfortable and in looking after the most important people to him his wife Tina and daughters, Jess & Anna and of course all his family and friends was second to none.

Myself (Marlon) & Martin (who will be my caddy) are kicking off the fund raising with myself participating in The Trilby Tour on 30th July at The Springs Golf Club in Oxford.  If you can take the time to sponsor me it would be much appreciated for you golf fans out there I thought I might aim for Rogues gallery so if I'm really bad you will see me on the TV!

Our golf trips will never be the same without the big man and his larger than life personality.  Over the coming months we will all be doing our best to make our promise to Nick a reality so will update with any future activities from Nick's golf buddies.

Rest in Peace Nick - we miss you.

Thanks for reading my page, please feel free to donate and share let's make this wish a reality.

Thanks Marlon

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
