In Gaza, there is an acute water crisis. Over 90% of households have a tap where clean water once flowed, but today the water is no longer safe to drink. Muslim Charity is supporting the provision & distribution of purified water for people in Gaza.

Story

InshaAllah on 4th October 2020, I will be taking on the FASTEST ZIPLINE IN THE WORLD and the LONGEST IN EUROPE (Velocity 2 in North Wales) to raise funds and provide clean water to needy families in Gaza, Palestine.

Prophet Muhammad (saw) was once asked, "Which charity is best?" and his reply was, "Providing water." [Ibn Majah]

In Gaza, there is an acute water crisis. Over 90% of households have a tap where clean water once flowed, but today the water is no longer safe to drink. Only 4% of the available fresh water is drinkable, the rest must be purified and desalinated to make it drinkable.

Muslim Charity is supporting the provision and distribution of purified water safe for human consumption through water tankers in Gaza.

Clean and safe drinking water is collected from desalination plants in East Gaza and distributed to families, schools and hospitals.

£75 provides clean water for 10 families for 1 month.

£300 funds one water tanker to be filled up with 30,000 litres and this water distributed.
