Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Several family members and a few friends are walking the coast to coast, which is 190 miles and will take us two weeks. Three of us (which includes Tilman) are starting at St Bees on the 19th June and others will join us along the way to walk into Robin Hoods Bay on 3rd July. We are doing this to celebrate that Tilman had a successful heart transplant at Harefield Hospital in 2006 and is healthy and enjoying life. We would like to continue to show our gratitude to Harefield Hospital by raising money towards their current appeal to buy a new, state of the art, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scanner to help future patients. There is further information about this at http://www.rbht.nhs.uk/about/fundraising/appeals/mri/
