On our new treadmill and whilst 'schools out' we're going to aim to cover 1000km.

We're going to play our part and help fight Covid-19, the people whose lives are under threat and the incredible NHS staff in our local hospitals in the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. These include Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's, St Mary's and the Western Eye.

We know that many are under financial pressures, but if you feel you can, please sponsor us, just £1 is enough.

Ian Lush, Chief Executive of Imperial Health Charity, said: “The spread of COVID-19 is affecting all of our lives – and while we make sense of this new reality, our NHS is under extreme pressure.

“During this extremely challenging period, we are determined to do everything we can to support our NHS staff.

“With your support, we will provide emergency funds to help hospital staff cope with the extraordinary demands of fighting the virus as well as those vulnerable patients who are suddenly facing significant financial difficulties as a result of their time in hospital.

As the dedicated charity for the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, we will focus our support on the Trust’s five London hospitals – Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s and the Western Eye.

Recently, we’ve funded major redevelopments, equipment and medical research to help our hospitals. But right now we’re thinking about the people who need us most – our dedicated hospital staff and our most vulnerable patients.
